No relationship is perfect, ever. There are always some ways you have to bend, to compromise, to give something up in order to gain something greater…The love we have for each other is bigger than these small differences. And that’s the key. It’s like a big pie chart, and the love in a relationship has to be the biggest piece. Love can make up for a lot.

caseybee:

When I see couples around campus, at the mall, or maybe even lingering in front of a house to say goodnight, I feel this overwhelming sense of warmth. This thing called “love,” just knowing that it exists is wonderful.
The warmth within intertwined fingers, the sweet sensation of a kiss, and the unforgettable butterflies shouldn’t have to be saved for later years. Though relationships are capable of hurting you, they’re also capable of bringing forth a level of happiness that can only be achieved by one thing: a significant other.
True, nothing last forever, but the life lessons gained from the ones you love are completely different from the lessons gained from the one you love. Your parents, your family and your friends can teach you how to love, but the one you love teaches you how to fall in love.

We may say we’re looking for love, following dreams, chasing the dollar, but aren’t we just looking for a place where we belong? A place where our thoughts, feelings, and fears are understood?
